Empower Rental Group is a family of local equipment rental providers across the Southeastern US. We began with 3 locations in 2021 with the goal of being the difference in the equipment rental industry by doing everything differently. We now have over 30 locations (crazy right?) and we are adding an Operations Coordinator to our team in the Memphis, TN – C&C Rentals location!

Local rental companies tend to have great customer service, but are limited in their equipment availability, while large companies have more equipment, but often lack effective customer service and have issues with accurate billing. Empower Rental Group combines the best of both worlds. Our network of ever-growing local equipment rental branches keeps the local rental company customer service and feel, but allows access to equipment from all of our locations. We pride ourselves on providing service within a few hours (rather than days) and on accurate billing. All of this leads to ERG being a local, no-excuses rental partner.

The Operations Coordinator supports the operations of branches by working with customers, vendors, and branch employees to provide operational services. The Operations Coordinator supports sales as needed depending upon the size and structure of the branch. The Operations Coordinator is a true multi-tasker who works in many facets while completing operations tasks and providing customer service to internal and external customers. They work cooperatively with the other members of the team to ensure orders are placed correctly and the customer gets exactly what they need. This position requires a customer service attitude for both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited to:
Assist customers with pick-ups and deliveries.
Answer operational branch calls assisting and taking ownership of all customer needs.
Respond to customer calls timely.
Routes trucks and has consistent driver communication.
Schedules truck maintenance.
Complete call off number recordings and communicate to customers.
Complete contract close outs and rental periods invoicing.
Complete cycle invoice accuracy.
Complete fuel inventory on site / ordering.
Write Purchase Orders.
Work with Service Manager or rental shop on equipment assigning to orders.
Complete truck PPE inventory.
Assist outside sales representatives as needed.
Assist with project execution tasks such as answering questions around administration, delivery or invoicing.
Notates all calls in the rental system via electronic call logs.
Assist walk-in customers (if applicable) with pick-ups and deliveries.
Handles customers’ inquiries/requests in a timely manner.
Makes outbound sales cold calls.
